- What exactly does the fit check measure?
- Three things, in order: how much you actually want the role (Willingness), whether your résumé will clear the hard requirements screening (Hard), and whether you can handle the interview (Soft). Each dimension produces a 0–100 score and a clear band.
- Is the AI score a prediction of whether I will get hired?
- No, and you should not treat it as one. The assessment is a structured self-check — it organizes the requirements of the posting and prompts you to answer honestly, so you make a more informed apply / prep / skip decision. It is not a prediction of an outcome.
- How is my data handled?
- Saved job postings are tied to your account and never shared. See the Privacy page for details. Authentication is handled by Clerk, and the backend runs on Cloudflare.
- Why only Hong Kong job sites?
- The extractors are tuned for the five major Hong Kong platforms. The architecture supports adding new sites with a single rule, so coverage can expand over time.
- What happens if a posting gets taken down?
- Because JobFit saves the full job description text (not just the URL), your copy is preserved even after the original listing disappears — so you can still tailor your résumé to it days later.
